From Brokenness to Blessing

The years 2013-2017 were a pivotal turning point in my life. Not just because of my career path in state government, but because it was during this time that I discovered the profound meaning of living with purpose.

Each year brought its own set of challenges, but also incredible triumphs that shaped the foundation of who I am today.

2013: A Seed of Inspiration is Planted

A difficult breakup led me to a powerful scripture verse that would later become the cornerstone of my non-profit, Girls Inspiring Generations. This same year, I landed my first significant tech job as a database developer, igniting my passion for technology's potential to connect and empower.

2014: Overcoming Obstacles and Embracing Growth

Faced with academic probation for the second time, I persevered and ultimately earned my Master's degree in Computer Science. The year also brought the beautiful restoration of the relationship that had ended previously. This personal victory, coupled with a growing awareness of holistic health's impact on future generations, fueled my own journey towards well-being.

2015: Yearning for Clarity and Finding Guidance

Despite a successful career and education, a nagging question lingered – what was my true purpose? Yearning for God's direction, I got engaged and found a phenomenal mentor who helped me navigate this crucial self-discovery journey.

2016: Girls Inspiring Generations Takes Flight

My non-profit, Girls Inspiring Generations, was officially launched. Witnessing the transformation of young girls into purpose-driven adults with families and degrees is a constant source of inspiration. This year also brought my wedding and a career shift towards higher education.

2017: A Calling Beyond the Classroom

While I enjoyed being a college educator, a deeper calling beckoned. Serving and empowering women and girls became my paramount mission.

From this transformative period emerged the core principles behind "Generations Transformed." It was a time of prioritizing holistic health, embracing technology as a bridge to connect with others, and deepening my commitment to Biblical life principles to develop the character needed for my purpose.
